I am a new Stampin Up Demonstrator. I enjoy stamping and card making so much I decided to sign up and be part of the Stampin Up family.
Besides stamping, I have a full time career as a Special Education Coordinator in a local school district. I am also blessed to be the mother of two great teenage boys. They are definitely what makes my life worthwhile!
I made this card for a friend who is retiring next week. She is huge fan of butterflies, so I decided it would be cool to incorporate the butterfly embosslit into the card. I also embossed the whisper white card stock to add texture to the card.
I made this set of notecards using the Stampin Up Leaves and Swirls wheel. A friend asked me to make a set of cards for her to give as a gift to someone. She thinks I should make and sell these. I don't know because I really make them for fun or because I want to give them to someone that I care about. I made the stationary box from card stock with directions from splitcoaststampers.com .
The butterfly embosslit makes several different butterflies at the same time. I have made a few cards to try them out. I used the Great Friend stamp set since it has a butterfly in it, and then just substituted the embossed one instead of stamping.
I just fell in love with the two step bird punch from Stampin' Up's mini catalog. I really like to punch it out of two different papers and mix them. It makes a really cute, simple card.
I was introduced to Fabulous Foldables for Cardmaking and I have had fun trying some of the projects. Here is a picture of one. The card is made from two pieces of card stock, and two scraps of designer paper.
